We then suggest to our patients coming by Metro through the Metro Champs-de-Mars, to follow the pedestrian route marked in red on the map below.
The city of Montreal is planning to create a public space with a distinctive identity around the Champ-de-Mars station, a major entranceway into old Montreal, at the foot of city hall and the CHUM superhospital.
To create this public space, a stretch of the Ville-Marie Expressway between Rue Hôtel-de-Ville and Rue Sanguinet will need to be covered.
The work of the Ville-Marie Expressway covering will begin on April 25th. However, this closure will take effect from April 11 to enable the site development.
