Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure that corrects the “under-eye bags” as well as the “drooping eyelids” which gives an older and tired appearance of the face. Both men and women are good candidates for this intervention.

This procedure not only removes excess skin but also removes the excess fatty tissues. The scars are minimal and hidden in the natural folds. Occasionally dry eyes can be exacerbated in the postoperative period, which require the use of lubricating drops. The bruising disappears after approximately ten days.

The procedure can be done under local or general anesthesia and does not require hospitalization.

The purpose of this surgery is to look less tired. Instead of the traditional “You look tired”; they will say “WOW!  you look rested”.
