Sinusitis

It is an inflammation or infection of one or several sinus which is manifested by headache, fatigue, face hypersensitivity which is increased by leaning the head or by touching the affected sinus; as well, patients report nasal obstruction, nose secretion through the nostril and as a posterior nasal drip. We speak of acute rhinosinusitis, if it lasts less than 4 weeks and chronic rhinosinusitis if it lasts more than 12 weeks. We recommend review of the nasal cavities with a scan of the sinus in the case of chronic sinusitis.
