BPPV refractory to repositioning maneuver

In cases where the liberating repositioning maneuvers are not successful after several attempts, and in cases where the patient is concerned by this vertigo, a surgical treatment can be performed. Dr Saliba and Dr. Nader are specialists at the Polyclinique Centre-Ville and experts who will conduct the obliteration of the patient’s semicircular canal to prevent the movement of crystals in the liquid of the affected canal. Although this technique has a very high success rate, some risks exist. A discussion will be held with experts in order to have all the necessary information.
